This appeared in our garden and has continued to grow rapidly. It is in the area of the birdtable so I wonder if it has grown from a seed deposited from the table. Any advice appreciated.
Not sure which species of Millet, so scientific name not set.

Grows from seed. It flowers spring, summer and autumn but is not frost hardy. Grows in full sun. Originates from China. Balsam is used in medications.

This plant comes up every year and in the winter leaves a brown stem with clusters of seeds up the stem,and lasts well into the summer if left.
Can anyone confirm this to be Verbascum thapsus (Common Mullein)?
