Reservoir banks/Madrid/Spain
Can anyone identify these plants? I found about 4 or 5 very simular species (two shown here) on the banks of a reservoir in Spain. Leaves succulent. Flower buds less than 1 mm closed and 1.5 - 2 mm open. 5 petals, 5 stamens.

Another succulent plant found by a reservoir in Madrid. Leaves and flowers in whorls. Stem and leaves hairy. The large flower whorl about 1cm dia, each flower about 3mm. 4 stamens per flower. Petals may be white with all colour coming from sepals. Ideas?

Not sure whether this is a shrub or whether it will grow into a tree. Bought at my local garden centre in Spain. They think it may have come from Tunisia. Help please
